Today,  February 3, 2018 our  Batik Workshop was held in a nice Old Javanese atmosphere, Suwe Ora Jamu Cafe, in Jl. Petogogan 1 no 28 B, Kebayoran Baru.

Mrs Indra  share a litle bit about the Batik History, Batik Philosophy behind batik pattern and Ms Peni  introduced you how to make Batik using a special unique tool called Canting.

Mrs Indra also introduce the participant, using either LERAK or Attack Batik Care to help you  to take care your BATIK correctly. Do Not wash your Batik with detergent and washing machine.

INFO PERAWATAN BATIK :

Secara tradisional biasanya mencuci kain Batik agar awet dan warnanya tidak pudar menggunakan busa dari buah Lerak atau Rerek yang nama latinnya Sapindus rarak  (dalam bahasa Inggris disebut Soapnuts) yang merupakan pohon besar, Jika di kota-kota besar tidak ditemukan buah lerak atau cairannya, maka sejak  1 Oktober 2010 telah diluncurkan  sabu cair khusus untuk kain Batik atau kain halus lainnya yaitu Attack Batik Cleaner.
