June 13, 2013 early in the morning Hotel Management Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University students had ready to have BATIK SHORT COURSE (as a part of their assignment as Binus Students) with Dr. Ir. Indra Tjahjani, SS, MLA, MMSI.
Dr. Indra is Batik Motivator, she love to share all about BATIK, the history, the philosophy behind each pattern, the technique etc.

Batik is a technique to make pattern in a piece of cloth using special wax to covered the pattern and using canting.
Canting is a tool which has function as a pen and wax as an ink.
