In 1980 Mrs Indra Tjahjani have a dream to set up a small Gallery to share about the Indonesian Culture one day.
Indra decided to named it GRIYA PENI, she prepared a baby girl Peni for her daughter name. (Thanks GOD later in 1985 I’ve got a baby girl).

Now, Mrs Indra Tjahjani invite everybody to know more about BATIK, its History, Philosophy in each pattern behind each pattern, and also to know more about the Batik dyeing technique in 2 hours short course or 12 hours medium course.
