Mrs Indra Tj, Mbatik Yuuuk motivator wearing Lasem (Rembang Region-Central Jawa) ‘Kain Panjang’ with ‘Kawung’ (Palm fruit) pattern and a big scarf of ‘Gedog’ from Tuban (East Jawa) with Hong (Peacock bird) pattern.
Lasem located in Kabupaten Rembang – Central Java, while Tuban is located in East Java, both are in the North coastal area,
Mrs. Indra Tj shows the students how to use the ‘Mega Mendung’ (cloud) correctly (actually should be horizontal). Mega Mendung originally came from Cirebon – West Java. Cirebon is located in the North Coastal area too.
Mrs. Indra Tj also tells the ‘Head of Batik Sarong with Tumpal pattern’ of Pekalongan Batik.
Pekalongan located in the coastal area of Central Java.
Note : NOT all Batik head called TUMPAL, could be flowers or diagonal stripe pattern. If that the case it should be just called it HEAD.
Mrs. Indra Tj make a QUIS – which one is the Hand Written Batik and which one is the Printing Machine Batik. The students were very anthusiastique.
